Special Edition: Tahoe Dreamin 2025

One final Salesforce conference you don't want to miss

End of an Era with Tahoe Dreamin

Tahoe Dreamin is a community led Salesforce conference that has been held in Lake Tahoe annually since 2016. If you have never been, this is a great place to meet other Salesforce enthusiasts and experts in a smaller, more intimate setting than a Dreamforce or World Tour. Not to mention, Lake Tahoe is a fantastic setting for a conference, and welcomes you to bring your family for mixing business and pleasure.

Sadly, 2025 will be the final year for Tahoe Dreamin, so if you ever wanted to go, there is no time like the present. This year, the conference is May 15-16, 2025 in South Lake Tahoe, with a pre-conference hands-on Workshops May 14th. For additional information and tickets, go to https://tahoedreamin.com/.

Tahoe Dreamin Reflections

In this episode of the Coffee Dreamin podcast, I was able to connect with Bill Greenhaw and get his perspective on the conference as well as some clues as to what comes next:

  • Giving back to a tight knit community - as a Salesforce MVP Hall of Fame member, Bill has been giving back to the Salesforce community for many years. His contributions have helped many people get started in the ecosystem, build professional connections, get jobs, and find mentors. In my experience, Tahoe Dreamin is a wonderful community that is very accessible and open, something that is hard to replicate at larger events.

  • Family friendly - one of the reasons Bill and co chose Lake Tahoe is that is blends natural beauty with business so well, making it easier, and more fun to learn. It also allows you to bring your children to work as it were and enjoy the Salesforce community at a deeper level. If you have ever been to a Tahoe Dreamin event, you will likely have seen Bill’s son helping out as well!

  • What comes next - it sounds like a lot is still up in the air, but you will definitely see Bill again soon contributing in new and fresh ways. Perhaps that is a mobile conference, or more hands-on focused events - still TBD but the spirit of Tahoe Dreamin will continue on in the Salesforce community.
